Had my first visit today at Virginia Ear Nose & Throat (West End office). Wonderful experience! Front desk person and the nurse were friendly and nice. I was in the waiting room less then 10 minutes. I waited in the patient room maybe 5 minutes, if that. Dr. May was very friendly and knowledgeable about my issue. The in-office procedure he did–I think it’s called a nasopharyncoscopy–was easy and quick. He answered all my questions, had some suggestions/treatment options, and I never felt rushed. And the person on the phone that I scheduled with was really nice as well. I definitely recommend this practice and Dr May specifically.
After about a month of daily nose bleeds I decided to see a professional. Dr. Barnes (she may have been a NP) checked me out and gave recommendations. We decided to cauterize the vessels and after a relatively painless procedure I was walking out with a printout of aftercare recommendations. Less the first couple days of drainage the process was very easy. Not a single nosebleed since then. 10/10
I go to see Dr Sally and the PT Tony Curtis and they both are Top Shelf and very thorough and listen to your concerns and answer your questions i highly recommend Virginia Ear Nose & Throat and Dr Sally and for PT Tony Curtis 💯
I visited this practice 16 years ago, and again today. It was a COMPLETELY different experience from start to finish. Front desk staff was super friendly, the nurse who took me back was polite, kind and professional. Dr. Tarasidis Jr could not have been nicer or more concerned (his dad was at the practice before and had a different personality). I was in and out quickly without a long wait time at any point. If you have negative history with this practice, give them another chance.
Definitely recommend Dr Lim if your children have ear issues and need tubes. He did an amazing job with my kids.
