My son and daughter both saw Dr. Lim to get their adenoids removed. My son was only 3 years old and my daughter was 9. It was a great experience, he was very friendly and answered any questions that I had. I would definitely go back.
All three of my children have been seen by Drs at VaENT. We have been through a total of 4 sets of tubes between two children, tonsils and adenoids for one of them, and yearly follow ups required by VDH for hearing exams! The facility is very family oreiented and I personally LOVE Dr. Salley and Dr. Perlman!
My son had tubes put in by Dr Lim. He is great with kids and was very personable. The office staff is also great
Dr. Lim has been great for my 2 boys. He took the time to answer all of my questions after before and after the procedures. Even tries to involve my daughter when she isnt happy about being a tagalong for follow up appts. He is great with kids.
Some of these reviews are amusing. A doctor who sees patients exactly on time, when you have an afternoon appointment? Good luck. Do what I do, book first thing in the morning. You can’t predict what will happen during the 20 appointments before yours to delay things. If a patient has a particularly difficult condition and needs more than a quick checkup, it will take longer and delay other appointments. This is normal at every doctor I’ve ever been to, which is probably 40 or 50 over my lifetime. As far as the care itself, I liked Dr. Salley and he did a good job listening to my concerns and explaining the reasoning behind his care plan. My only complaint would be no discharge paperwork with instructions, so I had to remember everything on my own.
