A Richmond native, Parks headed to Harrisonburg to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University in 2010. She went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2022, graduating as a family nurse practitioner. Parks is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse.
After working in the Emergency Department for 10 years, Parks appreciates that she can now dive more deeply into a patient’s health history and symptoms. She enjoys spending quality time with patients, especially pediatric patients, and helping them find relief from their symptoms, which are oftentimes chronic. Parks also enjoys assisting with procedures in the office. When she is not working, you can find Parks listening to music, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
