A lifelong Virginian, Dr. Kenerson was born and raised in Virginia Beach and obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia/VCU School of Medicine. He completed his otolaryngology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery, the Virginia Society of Otolaryngology, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Kenerson practices general otolaryngology with a particular interest in laryngology, offering comprehensive diagnosis and medical and surgical management of voice and swallowing disorders.
Dr. Kenerson is married. He and his wife enjoy cooking, music, outdoor activities and spending time with their rescue dog, Lucy.
