A Philadelphia native, Tony Curtis holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. He joined the Virginia ENT team in 2018, and he enjoys helping patients understand the root cause of their balance issues. To Tony, caring for patients is an exercise in understanding the relationship between body systems and how both external and internal forces affect these systems. He believes that physical therapy is a science of understanding physiology—and when you apply this knowledge construct to vertigo, headaches, TMJ and imbalance, you will find robust avenues to help patients.
Within his specialty, Tony is particularly interested in vestibular diagnostics and intervention, dry needling, manual therapy for orthopedic dysfunctions, diagnosis and treatment of headache disorders and TMJ rehabilitation. Tony is a certified Functional Dry Needling Practitioner, providing dry-needling treatment in conjunction with other physical therapy treatments.
When he is not working, you can find Tony learning new music on the guitar, weight lifting and teaching his children various instruments and activities. He loves the Richmond area and how it is in close proximity to both the mountains and the beach.
